  EXHIBITORS

Anne Hennig Schmuckdesign

Anke Hennig creates contemporary jewelry from textile materials. The origin of her jewelry is a thin thread. Growth and repetition are the defining themes of her work. For the production of the jewelry Anke Hennig uses an almost forgotten textile braiding technique from the 19th century, called “crochet gallon”.

Drechslerei Schalling Foto: Anna Werner

The turnery Schalling is a family business in the fourth generation and manufactures all products in elaborate handwork. “Zamm” is a playful reinterpretation of the traditional Erzgebirge figures angel and miner. The light angels combine the unique Erzgebirge craftsmanship with a modern contemporary design language.

Elementaris

Elementaris makes unique jewelry from porcelain and silver. In the beginning there is the material: porcelain, a raw material that is not hard but soft and thus makes completely different methods of processing necessary and possible. Finest surface structures are possible and the starting point of the works. The collection “Bubbles” was created in cooperation with the label Corinna Aurelia.

eye eye Illustration

Robert Jäger creates illustrated, cyclopean, often androgynous characters with the desire to use just one image to illustrate an imaginative story, a comical situation, or a routine of daily life, and to pull the viewer out of his reality for a moment.

Heike Berl

Heike Berl reinterprets papermaking. The craft of papermaking has a long tradition. The production of a sheet is essential and of enormous cultural and historical significance. Heike Berl uses this technique, interprets it in a modern way and develops from it works of art in the field of tension between German contemporary history and environmental aspects.

Porzellanatelier Claudia Biehne & Stefan Passig

The possibilities offered by porcelain as a material are almost inexhaustible for an artist. Claudia Biehne is interested in exploring this cosmos. The series “Lumos” consists of delicate lamps for hanging and bowl-like objects for standing.

studio.glas Bildquelle: Torsten Rötzsch

Torsten Rötzsch works with hot glass and uses it in its full range. All the objects he creates are freely shaped and made with a clear sense of proportion. In the design and manufacture, the proportions are very important to him, as well as a new perspective on the very traditional techniques of this craft.

TOFF & ZÜRPEL® Manufaktur

The Dresden-based manufacturer TOFF & ZÜRPEL has been producing handmade beeswax wipes since 2017. Their certified organic beeswax cloths are the reusable alternative to cling film and aluminum foil and have numerous beneficial properties that allow food to stay fresh longer.

Kerstin Rößler

Kerstin Rößler produces individual light objects that are reminiscent of dandelions with their countless little umbrellas floating along. When paper is brought into a new context with light, this material loses its characterization as commonly banal, understood as an everyday material.

WESTOSTERON

WESTOSTERON is an interior and product design studio. Since 2007 the team develops and licenses multifaceted designs for furniture, accessories and lighting. The wall clock FRAKTUHR completely without hands lies in the field of tension between an abstracted wall clock and an object. At exactly one point the full hour is visible, shortly thereafter it dissolves again.
